Hello, I'm Patrick. I'm a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Bristol. My research involves certain concerns in formal epistemology and the philosophy of science. In particular, I'm investigating value-theoretic epistemology (often of the accuracy-only flavor) to see what rational norms might be justified. Furthermore, I'm looking at certain matters in Formal Learning Theory, causal discovery, and quantum foundations (especially the non-equilibrium fragment of Bohmian Mechanics as a possible route to new physics).
When I'm not doing philosophy stuff, I enjoy having a strong cup of coffee at a neighborhood coffee shop, throwing the frisbee to my never-tiring dogs (Simba+Ruby+Luna), hiking, kayaking, pickleball, homebrewing, easy-baking, and falling down a Wikipedia rabbit-hole.
